Unfortunately, going to law school can be quite expensive. Many law schools will cost between $ 150,000 and $ 200,000 to complete. This, combined with a four-year undergraduate program, could cost students more than $ 300,000 to complete their education. For many this is not a financially viable option.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG):

It offers between $ 100 and $ 4,000 a year from the federal government.  No matter what you plan to study. Grants vary based on your financial need.  But your school must participate in FSEOG to verify that the school you plan to attend is in the program.

Assistance grant for the education of higher and university education teachers (TEACH):

Offer up to $ 4,000 a year if you are studying to become a teacher. To receive the grant, you must agree to teach in a variety of high needs at an elementary or secondary school, or at an educational services agency serving low-income children. You must also complete at least four years of service within eight years of receiving the grant.

American Association of Grants for the Development of the Career of University Women:

It can offer you between $ 2,000 and $ 12,000 if you already have a college degree and expect to do your first master’s degree, certification program, or specialized / technical training (but not doctoral-level work). Particular attention is paid if you are a woman of color or are pursuing a career in a “non-degraded” field (such as architecture, engineering, or aviation).

Shirley Holden Helberg Scholarships for Mature Women:

Offers grants of $ 1,000 if you are over the age of 35 and have a career in the arts, writing, or music. You can apply for more than one grant, but you must do it separately for each category.
