You might recognize Tom Holland as Spider-Man, but he’s done a lot more in his career than just play the iconic Marvel character.

Tom got his start in the West End, playing Billy Elliot in “Billy Elliot the Musical.” He was just twelve years old at the time. Soon after, he was cast alongside Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor in the 2012 film “The Impossible.” Tom was praised for his ability to plough through such emotionally-driven scenes with a maturity beyond his years. The critical acclaim that he received was amazing for someone who had never acted in front of a camera before. Soon after graduating from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Tom was given the role of a lifetime when Marvel came knocking at his door with an offer for the part of Peter Parker and Spider-Man. In some ways, Tom had been preparing for this role his entire life. He used to pretend to be Spider-Man when he was a kid and his mom even kept the Spidey shirt that he used to wear to sleep every night! Playing Spider-Man made Tom a multi-millionaire, and you can bet that this 22-year-old is spending some of that cash.

Back to Spidey. From buying a flat in London to buying a motorbike to putting his best mate on payroll as his assistant, Holland is making the most out of this crazy life he’s been blessed with. And he doesn’t just selfishly use his influence and money for his own benefit, he also started a charity with his brothers called The Brothers Trust. Together, they’ve raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities that are near and dear to their hearts.
