2. What inspired you to start creating your own music?

Music was always something I cared about deeply but my true fans and family know that football was my first love. My brother Millz Pe$o, a producer, rapper, and engineer also based out of Cleveland, OH, is who inspired me to start looking into music more deeply when he visited me one day and showed me this popular software/DAW called FL Studio.

3. What has been your biggest achievement so far?

Although I have a good amount of credits that I could say are my biggest achievements to date. My biggest achievement to me so far is having my own digital magazine-styled platform for engineers and producers to receive acknowledgment and praise. The platform is called “Platinum Fader.”

4. What do you have planned for this year?

This year has been crazy with all the COVID-19 issues. A lot of the big things I had planned for this year have actually been pushed back to next year in the hope that COVID-19 will be well under control by then. I’m hoping that my business will still launch this year but I’m not sure yet.

5. Who are the top 3 celebrities/artists you’d love to work with? And why?

1. 40 – Drake’s producer and engineer. He’s my biggest inspiration to date and his knowledge of music is just incredible. From a conceptual standpoint all the way down to the technical side. He is definitely a one of a kind guy.

2. Jhene Aiko – She is one of my favorite female singers; I feel like the type of production tracks I make will sound like heaven with her vocals on them. I’m 100% certain you’ll hear a collaboration from me and her in the near future.

3. Jaden Smith – I met Jaden smith last year at his sound check in Chicago. It was a 10-hour drive but well worth it. I got the opportunity through my membership with The Recording Academy. They are the creators of the well known “GRAMMY” award. Jaden is a unique personality and one thing that stood out to me from meeting him is his care for humanity. The guy has literally done and spent tons of money to make this world better and he has all my respect from that! His sound is also unique and the lo-fi rock vibes are something I definitely mess with.

6. Take a moment to close your eyes. Where do ideally you see yourself in 5 year’s time?

I see myself sitting behind my studio desk getting ready to either mix or produce a song for somebody we all know and love. My studio will be within my newly built house and will contain multiple plaques on the wall.

7. Who or what is your greatest love?

God is definitely my greatest love. Without God I wouldn’t be anywhere near the position I’m in now and I’m truly grateful for that.

8. What book do you recommend most to others?

I recommend everyone, especially young black men, read “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter” by Curtis Jackson. This book teaches you the key to sustaining success.

9. If you could get the perfect help from an online tax return service, what would they do for you?

Interesting question. Perfect help to me would be free help.

10. Can you give our readers 2 key tips for staying creative?

1. Pay attention to what’s at the top of these music charts and use those records as inspiration for your next record.
2. Don’t be afraid to bend the rules or go outside the box when it comes to making music.

11. Where is your happy place?

My happy place is the studio. No matter what’s going on in the outside world or life itself, the studio has always been my escape place.

12. If you were stuck on a desert island and could only bring 3 things what would they be?

Very interesting question! I would bring a machete, a life raft, and a life straw.

13. How do you describe yourself in 5 words?

1. Hard-working
2. Funny
3. Intelligent
4. Blessed
5. Loving

14. Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with me! Where can we find and follow you online?
