Freestyle Footballer | Playing For Change // 60 Second Docs

A soccer lover since the age of 10, Laura Biondo of Weston, FL played for teams in the Italian Major League before discovering the rewarding world of soccer freestyle — where she’s excelled and gone on to become one of the world’s top leading female freestylers, with several Guinness World Records and a role in the Cirque du Soleil show “Luzia” in hand.

Soccer is more than just a sport. It’s a way for women and girls to extend their passion, confidence and courage to others. Whether it’s through art, charity or identity, soccer is constantly connecting us — building a community of support and encouragement through every individual’s unique journey. Playing for Change does just that, capturing five females as they gear up for varying stages of life, career, and challenge — while redefining possibilities both on the soccer pitch, and off.
