BuzzFeed announced massive layoffs on Friday, followed by HuffPo also announcing layoffs. This, coupled with the difficulty of finding a buyer for Gizmodo, could mean that people are just tired of biased, far-left mainstream media. Maybe? And what does this mean for Pop Culture, as many mainstream media entertainment sites like io9, the AV Club and Kotaku are owned by Gizmodo?
